Senior Data Manager – Advisory Team for GDPR guidance to our International Clients

We expect the person who fulfils this new role will simply “love data” in all its guises.

You will have a proven background translating Data Management Challenges to a Business or Regulatory context/audience. You will be passionate about data quality, as well as customer service (of course) and will be able to help inform our clients, who span a variety of sectors, to effectively introduce not only policies, but functional tools and processes which directly improve compliance with the changing regulation regarding GDPR whilst helping them to derive greater operational insights from the information that lies within their systems – creating a virtuous circle (improved data quality, informing improved business insights, thus improved business decisions).

Regarding GDPR, we will need you to be an expert. We know that the legislation is still in development therefore we will want you to be so motivated as to immerse yourself not only in the knowledge of the rules and regulations but the application and implications therein – you will be our ‘Subject Matter Expert’ helping our clients to navigate through relatively uncharted waters – you will be supported to gain a full insight into the Jersey GDPR legislation empowering you to help our clients to be effective and compliant.

This role will not only support our clients but our own business as you will be appointed as our Data Protection Officer, with a path to Chief Data Officer being built in partnership with you to ensure your career progression.

In addition to GDPR, you will naturally have a passion for making a difference to our clients as a Business Change Consultant. You will be adept at asking the right questions to tease out the root cause of issues and leverage your knowledge and know-how, built up throughout your career to date, to provide real world case studies to clients to demonstrate your provenance on the subject of Data Management.

You will have successfully worked alongside organisations to deliver policy, process and procedure improvements, organisational change or strategic planning which have often included systems development or systems implementation components.

You will have successfully delivered some, or all of the following:

  • Requirements gathering
  • Workshop facilitation
  • Gap analysis
  • Business process reengineering
  • Wire frame ‘to be’ processes
  • Data Management processes
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis

You will support the delivery of Change Management services that help our clients prepare and manage complex Business, Cultural and Organisational change based on data at the heart of everything you enjoy.

Business Analyst – Business Change Consultant

You will be an experienced and professional change agent who is highly proficient in using business analysis methodologies and tools, including capturing, analysing and documenting requirements, whilst supporting the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders. Although not essential, along with any BCS Business Analysis certifications, a Prince2 Practitioner qualification or similar would be advantageous.

You will have a passion for making a difference as a Business Change Consultant. You will be adept at asking the right questions to tease out the root cause of any issues. Through the analysis of processes, KPI’s, sentiments and goals you will be able to isolate and understand change needs, assess the impact of the changes and identify best-fit solutions.

You will have successfully worked alongside organisations to deliver policy, process and procedure improvements, organisational change or strategic planning and which have often included a systems development or systems implementation component.

You will have successfully delivered some, or all of the following:

  • Business process reengineering
  • Root cause analysis
  • Strategic analysis
  • Requirements gathering
  • Gap analysis
  • Business planning
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis

You will support the delivery of Change Management services that help our clients prepare and manage complex Business, Cultural and Organisational change.

Project Manager – Business Change Consultant

You will be an experienced and professional change agent who is highly proficient in using project management methodologies and tools, as well as being able to communicate effectively and manage project stakeholders. Although not essential, a Prince2 Practitioner qualification or similar would be advantageous, along with any BCS Business Analysis certifications.

You will have a passion for making a difference as a Business Change Consultant, whether it be supporting our Business Solutions or Technical Solutions teams in delivering leading-edge systems or platforms, or working as a dedicated project resource for our clients.

You will have successfully managed projects within the Financial Services or Public Sector, including the negotiation of change requests and effectively dealing with unexpected and/or tricky issues. The final project deliverables or outcome will have been successfully embedded into the organisation and you will have instilled a culture of continuous improvement.

You will deliver Change Management services that help our clients prepare and manage complex Business, Cultural and Organisational change.

Jersey Housing Certification available

You will be au fait with general SharePoint, SQL, Power BI and industry standard Reporting tools as well as having a neat set of acceleration tools for Data Warehouse design and development.

You will have worked in Multi-National engagements, have a fantastic grasp of Financial Analytics as well as User Experience and a passion for making data beautiful, this will all ensure that the right data is surfaced at the right time to facilitate real insights and informed business decisions. You will also be able to evangelise about our Financial Services reporting products that will help fast track success for many clients in diverse sectors.
