Jake Foster Chief Technology Officer

Jake joined the team in 2011 as Chief Technology Officer with primary focus upon establishing the company’s Technical Solutions practice. He is an well recognised Technical Architect with extensive experience of infrastructure design and implementation across a wide range of platforms.

Jake is a subject matter expert in SAN, high-availability platforms, virtualisation, Enterprise backup, cloud and hosted solutions.

• Enterprise and SME solutions architect gathering requirements and future business strategies to create a solution to solve the needs of the client working within their budgetary constraints.
• SAN and storage design, implementation and support of client requirements, based on HP and IBM based storage working within vendor best practices and real world experience, including creating managed services offerings covering daily routines, backups and monitoring.
• Consolidation of client Data Centre environment, taking into account power and cooling, utilizing hypervisor technologies and HP Blade Systems products.
• Extensive experience of migration projects, including full Data Centre relocations on-island and pan-European.
• Leading projects as the Technical Architect through the full IT life cycle (analysis, architecture, design build, test, implementation and on-going support).
